Regarding Zariche
|
|
|
|
|
Updated 15-05-2008.
The duration of Zariche has been reduced to roughly 3 days. Also it seems neccessary to remind players
that using bots or dualboxed alternate characters to increase the power of Zariche is not allowed. Leveling it up
in areas that are not accessible to other players (i.e Castles, certain Clan Halls, etc.) is also not allowed.
Breaking the rules regarding usage of the weapon will get get Zariche removed from your character and returned to the
game world. The reasoning behind this is that the weapon is meant to be fought for, and artificially boosting the power
of the weapon without the chance of interference is not what we're aiming for with this weapon.
We are open to the possibility of adjusting the damage of the earlier levels to make it more competitive at that stage.
Also the epic raid bosses cannot be attacked by Zariche. Normal raids and game bosses are as usual.

Some adjustments and changes
|
|
|
|
|
A few changes have been made to some skills, npcs, and items, and the staff would like some feedback on a few ideas.
About skills, npcs and items. All archers have had their accuracy reduced by 3. This was 5 a few days ago, but
after gauging community response it was adjusted to 3. Second, Tribunal and Judgement have had their effect
reduced by roughly 30% and reuse time has been increased, while the landing rate was decreased. Third, Kamikaze
items have been tweaked slightly, and given more penalties to defenses. As for npcs, the raids
that drop the Divine Inspiration books have been made stronger (with the exception of Baium and Valakas.) Antharas'
stats have been increased recently also.
We'd like some feedback. Two minor ideas that we'd like to get community reaction on. First whether or not
it'd be a good idea to add Prophecy of Fire, Water and Wind to the buffers. Not the other third class buffs, or Chant of
Victory/Magnus. Just those three. Let us know if it's something you'd be interested in by replying below.
And, with the recent addition of Zariche comes another possibility. Additional cursed items are able to be added, we'd like to
know if you'd like to see other types. Feel free to float your ideas in the comments area as well.
It's recommended you download the patch although it's not neccessary to play.

Some new additions and changes
|
|
|
|
|
A few new additions to both Vendetta to inform you of. We've added several boosts to normal gear
and drop and spoil adjustments to help out new and old players.
1. First off, is Advanced Cloaks for sale at the Armor Shop for adena. They are essentially lesser
versions of the Epic cloaks, giving 250 mdef or pdef, respectively. Also all regular S grade weapons have
been returned to normal (66%) enchant rates.
2. Normal S and some A grade armors have been modified to make them a more viable competition to the
Epic and Vendetta armor sets.
3. Also there are many minor client side improvements, including new coloured system messages.
4. Several c5 areas have been modified as high rate hunting grounds for some variety. Spoils and
drops have been increased and changed in all farming areas as well. Valakas' Lair has been fixed.
You'll need to download the newest patch from HERE in order to
see the new content. We've moved from the using autoupdater to zip archive downloads, due to the unreliability
of the updater over time.
As a final bonus we've decided to offer some old-school Chronicle lobbies for you to use if you choose to.
Feel free to download the Chronicle 1, Chronicle 2, Chronicle 3, or Chronicle 4 lobby.
Have fun!

The L2 Vendetta Staff.

Lineage ][ Vendetta's one year anniversary!
|
|
|
|
|
Hello folks, I'm not quite sure if you're aware of this, but it's been one year now that Vendetta is up. It's been a year of countless PvP's, sieges, and loads of fun. We've had rough times, we've had good times... but, above all, we're still here.
You know, about a year ago I used to play in a server called L2Ultimate. At first I was a GM there, then I worked my way up to the head GM position, and was given box access for the first time in my life. I started witnessing all those marvelous things, and that built up inside me a huge desire to open my own server.
I was unhappy with how L2Ultimate was handled, and irritated by the corruption that permeated it.
Yet every cloud has its silver lining, for in that server I met a guy called StormRage, who happens to be the guy who owns this server along with me. We talked for a few nights, then decided to open our own server and named it Lineage ][ Vendetta.
It was on this very day a year ago that we opened Vendetta. It is a great honor for me to have had such a long history together. For over a year now we've all been working together to build this server, and to turn it into what it is today. I still remember our C4 server with almost no features... now we're C5 with most of its features, epic weapons, mordor weapons, kamikaze armors, epic armors, kamikaze weapons, tons of custom raid bosses and custom areas, all of which were made by ourselves and that many other servers out there use (even without giving proper credit). And, most importantly, we have a stable server which you can trust and know that tomorrow you'll wake up and it'll be there.
Thank you all for making this server what it is today. I'm sure we still have a great path ahead of us.
But hey, wait a second there! I'm not finished yet!
To celebrate our one year anniversary, we're bringing you a bunch of new stuff!
In order to see these changes, you'll need to download our new patch.
